A leading manufacturer are seeking a Production Manager to join their team near Cardiff. If you have the ability to modify production schedule's to meet unexpected interruptions, then you could be the Production Manager that we've been looking for.

What will you be doing?

As a Production Manager, you will manage the daily output, introduce new products and improve productivity using lean manufacturing principles. You will liaise effectively with other departments to improve communication/productivity. If you have the ability to manage the efficient implementation of appropriate Lean tools and methodologies, then we want to hear from you.

What skills/experience should you have?

* Graduate or Equivalents with several year's experience as a Production Manager in a low volume, high variety batch production environment.

* 8D Problem solving or equivalent.

* Significant lean manufacturing experience.

* Solid project management experience.

* Has a track record introducing good shop floor practices and disciplines (Standard Operating Procedures, Visible Performance Measures, Quality at Source, 5S etc.)
