My global client, based in the West Midlands is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to help in their continuously expanding IT division. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing business support on technology solutions by determining the requirements of OpenEnterprise projects and communicating them clearly to stakeholders throughout the SDLC

What you will be doing

* Work across OE stakeholders to capture, analyse, and define requirements and business processes

* Produce Business Specifications in line with OE development schedule

* Translate business requirements into User Stories for use by the OE delivery teams

* Communicate business requirements and solutions clearly between Product Managers, Customers, and Development teams

* Ensure consistency in workflow and usability is applied to new product features

* Act as subject matter expert to resolve business questions for technical teams during Scrum process

* Collaborate with Marketing function to maintain prioritised product backlog

* Participate in Scrum meetings; Planning, Review, and Retrospective

* Assist with evaluation and testing of new products

* Travel as required to remote teams and customers

* Adhere to local and international company principles, practices and procedures

What you will have

* Expereince of a range of project methodologies; Agile experience desirable

* Experience of writing Business Requirements, Workshop Facilitation, Use Case definition

* Understanding of SCADA software

* Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience

* Business Analysis qualification; ISEB or similar

* Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels

* Strong technical troubleshooting and follow through skills

* 5+ years of related experience

* Knowledge of the oil and gas industry
