Senior Planner - Manchester - Leading top tier Contractor

We are looking for a Senior Planner who has a top tier construction background within the UK construction sector - ideally having worked on major healthcare developments. This opportunity has materialised through organic growth of the Northern business unit and subsequent award of a £85m contract. This will provide you with great career prospects on leading, high value project based in the North West (Manchester), and also has potential for UK wide work if you are interested.

As the successful Senior Planner you will work as part of a small team to deliver the programme through the 2nd stage tender and onto site. You should be extremely competent with NEC forms of contract.

Key Requirements

The ideal Senior Planner should have the following;

* 10 years' experience as a Project Planner with stable career history with top tier construction contractors

* A site based background is advantageous - i.e. Site Engineer.

* A track record of delivering schemes from Tender inquiry through to PC.

* Sector experience ideally includes Healthcare P21+ / PFI / Education / Commercial / PRS

* You will be an outgoing, personable individual with exceptional communication skills.

* Expert Asta PowerProject

* Synchro 4d

* Microsoft Projects

* Proficient in Microsoft Office.

* Full UK driving License.

Salary

As the successful Senior Planner you will receive the following;

£60000 plus (Car + Healthcare + Pension) - depending upon experience.
