We procure, develop, run and manage best-in-class IT solutions and services to support JLT’s business activities. We place our customers at the heart of all technology we buy or build. Job Title: IT Project Manager (Permanent)
Location: Bristol
Purpose of the Role
Define potential projects sufficient for a decision to be made on viability given costs, timescales and risks.
Deliver projects to the agreed scope and requirement, timescales and budget.
Manage project stakeholder relationships and expectation
Ensure disciplined processes and procedures are applied to all projects, ensuring predictability in project timescales, costs and quality and effective management/mitigation of risks and dependencies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparing / Initiating Projects
- Managing Project Progress and Administration
- Adhere to compliance Procedures
- Prepare, Plan and Manage Implementation
- Formally Close Project when Complete
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
Minimum of 5 to 10 years (dependent on the seniority of the role) in formal change & project management within an IT environment
Good and practical knowledge of full project life cycle and associated professional standards
Significant experience in and understanding of the challenges of Shared Services - preferably within a financial services context
Matrix Management of On shore and Off Shore resources
Proficient in use of MS Office, Project Management and related tools
Commercially astute
Good understanding of IT products and services
ITIL Foundation
Prince 2 Practitioner
