Infrastructure Support Analyst in Asset Management Firm

Position Overview:

An Infrastructure Support Analyst is needed to join the collaborative 1st to 3rd line support team of a leading Asset Management firm, with offices in London, Ireland and the Middle East. The Infrastructure Support Analyst will liaise directly with service providers and Market Data users and will be accountable for disaster recovery across offices, the deployment of a range of hardware and software (including mobile technologies) and providing IT and AV support to both end users and high profile clients.

The company is an international asset management and financial advisory business providing a range of investment management services and global investment solutions. They are looking for a proactive, experienced support analyst with a positive attitude to join their team of roughly 100 employees in London and, of course their larger global team.

Responsibilities as Infrastructure Support Analyst:

* Key contact for liaison with clients and market data system users

* Contract negotiation, invoicing, disaster recovery

* Security administration on Third Party web applications

* Providing support to Latent Zero and Charles River trading systems

* The installation and administration of both hardware and software (including mobile technologies and Windows servers)

* Record and hardware maintenance

* Ad hoc travel possible (international)

Required Skills for Infrastructure Support Analyst:

* A strong IT support background, with a minimum of 1 year in an asset management firm

* Experience supporting Market Data and trading compliance applications

* Understanding of data protection and business continuity planning

* Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines

* Excellent communication, problem solving and root cause analysis skills

Desirable Skills for Infrastructure Support Analyst:

* Bloomberg and Factset experience

* Cisco communication manager

* PC Deployment process / SCCM

* Windows Server Technologies; specifically MCP

* Experience with Active Directory and Apple AirWatch

Location: London (West End), United Kingdom

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
