Junior Project Manager - Exciting new opportunity

An exciting new opportunity has become available for a Junior Project Manager to join this vastly growing team based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, where you will have the opportunity to help shape and improve the way they run their business.

As the Junior Project Manager you will work in a client facing role in an Agile environment analysing, capturing and communicating customer requirements and manage the product installations. As the Junior Project Manager, you will also take responsibility for:

* Assisting in the project planning and scheduling, monitoring progress against the plan and communicating this both internally and to customers.

* Performing 'first-up' testing of functional components.

* Performing sprint demos to customers.

* Performing some business analysis tasks to gather and clarify requirements.

This is also an excellent opportunity to take up the responsibility as Scrum Master, assisting in the preparation and prioritisation of the Product Backlog and leading the daily Scrum.

Skills required for the role of the Junior Project Manager are:

You will have been working in a Project Office or Business Analysis role within a technology company or IT department for at least 1 year.

*

You will be familiar with all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

*

You will ideally have experience of projects involving web, mobile and database technologies.

*

Experience of Agile project management methodologies would also be an advantage.

*

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

*

Ability to work as part of a team, but also under your own initiative as and when required.

Salary: £28-35K + Benefits
