Electronics Design Engineer / Electronic Hardware Design Engineer for an innovative SME who design, build, test and distribute complex electromechanical systems with a software element for the rail and transportation sectors. Electronic hardware design engineer role, incredibly diverse bespoke projects, flexible and agile business.This job will suit:

'€¢An Electronics Design Engineer / Electronic Hardware Design Engineer with experience of microprocessor design and fluent in the use of PADS/ORCAD or a similar PCB design package.'€¢Any exposure / working knowledge of EMC and Safety Standards, FPGA design process, VHDL are all beneficial.'€¢Ideally you will be degree qualified in an electronics engineering, electrical engineering or a similar engineering or science based discipline.

The job will involve:

'€¢The role is focused on the electronic hardware design of complex electromechanical systems with a software element for the rail and transportation sectors.'€¢The projects you will work on will include bespoke new designs as well as the development of existing products.'€¢Design, development and testing of a range of electronic circuits which will include complex microprocessor based products.'€¢You will ensure all designs meet legal requirements for EMC and safety certification working with external test houses when appropriate.
