£33,000-£40,000 + Healthcare + 25 days Holiday + Pension + Childcare vouchers

Excellent opportunity for an experience CAD technician to join a company that will offer you a varied role with Civil and structural engineering disciplines and the responsibility of leading a small team of trainees.

This company has been established for well over 30 years and specialises within the civil, structural and geotechnical industries, focussing mainly on new design projects and bridge refurbishments. They are now expanding and offering new opportunities to a Senior CAD Technician with 5 years minimum experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working on various Rail projects, focussing on the refurbishment of railway bridges and providing design solutions to a range of high profile clients.

The ideal candidate will have previous design experience using AutoCAD 2016, have experience using Revit and knowledge of both civil and structural engineering.

The role:

* Bridge design projects using AutoCAD 2016

*Site visits / surveys

*Assisting in inspections and surveys of structures

*Leading a small team of trainee's.

The person:

*HNC in construction

* Experience in civil engineering and structural engineering.

*Ability to take ownership of projects

*Revit experience.
