Oracle Database Administrator / Oracle DBA (RAC RMAN Data Guard). FTSE 250 global web based trading organisation is seeking a senior Oracle Database Administrator / Oracle DBA to support a large, complex high volume online trading platform. Responsibilities will include operational support, troubleshooting and responding to production issues, ensuring optimal uptime performance of busy mission critical financial trading environments.

Requirements:

*Extensive Oracle database administration experience up to and including Oracle 12c on Linux

*Hands-on experience of installation, upgrades and patching; RAC installation, configuration and support; PL/SQL and SQL diagnostics and tuning; backup and recovery techniques using RMAN; DataGuard configuration and maintenance; database hardware and tuning; GoldenGate; database security and compliance

*Logical with strong analytical and problem solving skills

*Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
