Head of Enterprise PMO

Head of Enterprise PMO / Portfolio Management / Change Management / Project Management / Prince 2 / P30 / Permanent / Warwickshire / West Midlands

Market leading client based in Warwickshire is looking for a Head of Enterprise PMO to their growing team at the head office.

The successful candidate will lead and drive effective delivery and continuous improvement of the EPMO (Enterprise Portfolio Management Office) service. To oversee and govern the change framework and a common infrastructure to support change ensuring adherence to practices, guidelines and standards with regard to change activities across the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

*Build, lead and manage the EPMO service against agreed service levels, KPIs and in line with its service charter.

*Drive effective collaboration between all Group Change services so that they are delivered to a high standard and performance is monitored and reported appropriately.

*Establish, lead, develop and promote the portfolio, programme, project and change methodologies which underpin the Change Framework incorporating standards, practices, processes, documentation, reporting and quality assurance.

*Lead and ensure on-going assurance of the Group Portfolio, programmes and projects to mitigate risk to the Portfolio, ensuring benefits are delivered to plan and alignment is maintained with business strategy and company policy.

*Oversee the management of the analysis of change performance metrics to ensure appropriate insight is produced by the EPMO to monitor and control performance.

*Recommend and influence resolutions driven from insights to senior stakeholders so that key decision points are highlighted and impacts/ risks are mitigated.

*Manage the operation and support of Group Portfolio, Programme and Project governance through the Change Framework so that business requirements are met and stakeholders are supported effectively.

*Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders including board members, senior divisional leaders and portfolio, programme and project teams.

*Lead, inspire, manage, engage and develop the EPMO team and build effective talent and succession plans to drive high performance and ensure the effective delivery of the Group Portfolio.

Key skills and experience:

*Significant level of experience in a Portfolio Management/ Change Management office at a senior level

*Expert knowledge and significant experience of Portfolio, Programme, Project and Change Management

*Significant experience of leading and managing teams

*Experience of leading in a regulated environment

*Expert knowledge of project management and planning processes and techniques

*Demonstrable experience of transforming PMO functions according to best practice

*Experience of PPM methodologies and support tools

*Excellent level of financial and commercial acumen

*PRINCE2 and P3O (Project, Programmes and Portfolio Office) all at practitioner level are essential (or willingness to work towards)
