ESSENTIAL SKILLS

* MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THE UK ENERGY INDUSTRY (Supplier, Broker/TPI)

* Excellent communication skills for account managing high profile clients and partners

* Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Office

* Previous experience working within an office based Customer Service focused position

* Ability to be versatile and work for a start-up company with numerous responsibilities

DESIRED SKILLS

* Experience having worked in the Energy industry in an Account Management or Relationship Management role considered massively advantageous

* Experience working for a start-up company considered a benefit

* Ideally seeking someone who is willing to kick-start their career in a young, ambitious company

* Advanced MS Excel skills a benefit (Advanced Excel not essential but proficient skills are a must)

The Role

A Business Support Advisor is required to join a new, independent energy supply company. You will be working alongside a vastly experienced team who have operated in the energy industry for many years, providing a fantastic career opportunity for an ambitious, flexible and passionate individual, with personal development and progression aligned to the continued growth and success of the business.

As part of the Customer Support team, your role will be to deliver a positive and professional service, whether it be responding to customer queries via phone and email, speaking with our partners and suppliers, or the management of various back office processes. As the first point of contact for all customers, you'll be directly involved in ensuring a positive customer experience for all our customers.

Responsibilities

* Be the first point of contact for all customer and broker engagement;

* Developing and maintaining relationships with our brokers by providing an account management service to achieve optimum growth and effectiveness;

* Providing pricing and contracts to our brokers with follow through phone calls to ensure contracts are signed and returned;

* Make commercial decisions on pricing in order to maximise profit and drive new business;

* Maintaining accurate account information within CRM systems; recording the customer deal (volume, prices) in the appropriate systems/spread sheets;

* Work with our partners and agents to ensure the successful validation of data with central industry Systems;

* Various data entry and administration tasks as required;

* Reporting against KPI's as required;

* Other tasks as required from time to time.

* The energy supply market across Micro-Business, SME and I&C customer segments;

* Gas Balancing and Electricity Settlements;

* Regulatory frameworks for both the Gas and Electricity markets;

* Billing regulation and compliance;
