Senior IT Project Manager - Agile - Retail West London up to £72k + Excellent Benefits Do you need a new challenge?

My large corporate client, are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager with experience of working in a Global brand ideally in an Agile environment.

The Project Manager's prime responsibility is to ensure that assigned projects produce the required deliverable within the defined quality, time and cost constraints and to facilitate full realisation of benefits defined in the Business Case.

Key Responsibilities:

- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques in order to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.

- Monitor and control project work.

- Manage a broad range of IT projects, within the Retail Technology Domain

- Manage the projects through all relevant stages of the project life cycle from inception through to closure.

- Prepare and maintain project documentation, project plans and track activities against the plans e.g. Work Requests, Cost Estimates, Business Cases, Project Initiation Documents, Project Plans, CAPEX / OPEX Forecasts, Exception Reports, Change Requests, Project Closure Reports etc.

- Produce and communicate clear and accurate progress reports for all projects in line with IT Governance & Reporting Calendar.

Key Skills

- POS deployment & upgrades- Luxury Retail would be ideal.

- Working knowledge of general retail store processes/ functions, retail technologies, web /mobile solutions..

- Familiarity and exposure to Retail hardware, for example: Scanners, POS tills, CRM and receipt printers

- Formal Project Management qualification e.g. Prince 2 Practitioner, Managing Successful Programmes, Agile Project Management.

- Strong Governance - Quality, Budget, Timescales.

- Experience in the management of suppliers including both the commercial and contractual relationships.

- People Management - particularly influencing/managing people without direct authority.

- Excellent Stakeholder Management & Communication skills - able to demonstrate credibility with senior management and good conflict resolution skills.
