Working for a leading European IT Service company headquartered in London the role is for a digital business analyst based in Edinburgh working on a project for a client in financial services. The candidate should have a strong technical knowledge, and ideally have experience within financial services and worked with Sitecore before.

Main duties:

* Manage functional requirements lifecycle from capture, validation, verification, and through to sign-off during UAT.

* Work directly with clients using your experience to identify and implement a suitable strategy in order to, elicit, analyse, document, validate and verify their requirements and to provide high quality advice and deliverable.

* Conduct discovery workshops.

* Develop requirements specifications and project scope of works, according to standard templates.

* Work with clients during test/acceptance phases to clarify issues.

* Work closely with the technical architects and developers in order to ensure correct translation of the business requirements.

Skills Required

* Experience in business analysis and/or business process improvement and/or business change management

* Proven experience using analytical tools like flow charts, use cases etc.

* A good understanding of the digital landscape and digital best practices

* CMS experience (in particular Sitecore)

* Understanding of user experience best practices, web and accessibility standards

* Understanding of Agile development methodologies.

* Excellent interviewing, questioning and requirements gathering skills.

* Confident in running training sessions

* Attention to detail and well-structured approach.

* Excellent communication skills - ability to speak and write clearly, simply and concisely.

* Strong interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders
