Technical Support Engineer

An Investment Management firm are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join their Technology team in supporting a dynamic trading environment in London.
The role itself is energetic and you will find no two days are the same. As the Technical Support Engineer, you will both implement technologies and provide first class support thereafter. The ideal candidate will have an infectious interest in technology and evidence of personal and professional achievement.
Key skills:
Experience providing support in a Financial Institution, preferably front office
Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems
Knowledge of IP networking
Academic or professional experience with PowerShell
An IT, Computer Science or related degree
The ideal Technical Support Engineer will have excellenct communication skills and be able to explain technical procedures to a non-technical audience. Additional programming and scripting languages such as Batch, Python or C++.
