ODI Technical Manager to be based in London on an initial 4 Month contract. Experienced Technical Manager with excellent SOA/ODI experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware.

Job Title - ODI Technical Manager

Location - London

Rate - £ 430 per day

Duration - 4 Months

Summary of Job Purpose:

Candidate will be responsible for Technical manager in SOA/ODI integration work stream and adopts Oracle Fusion Middleware standards and best practices.

Skills Requirements

* Extensive hands on experience in project management of medium to large SOA/ODI Integration projects, preferably Oracle EBS.

* Extremely strong in managing internal and external teams.

* Experienced in onsite/offshore operating model.

* Proactive in managing risks and issues.

* Technical Skills Required: Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle SOA suite, Oracle ADF, Oracle Webcenter suites, ODI, Weblogic etc.

* Other Skills Required: Strong solution designing and architecture experience in fusion middleware.

* Experience in all phases of project life cycle & exposure to Agile Methodologies Work collaboratively with other groups & stakeholders for project execution.

* Deep understanding in SOA lifecycle and FMW based Integration. Has worked on large enterprise level SOA initiatives.

* Ability to analyse requirements, identify services and design services with reusability in mind.

12+ years of experience in IT including at least 3 years in Architecture roles

* 2+ years of hands on experience as a Service Architect ; Service identification, Service classification, Service specification, Service contracts using WSDL & XML Schema Modelling

* Experience in architecting distributed, multi-tier applications using Java platform tools and technologies

* Proficiency in adoption of architecture paradigms such as SOA, Web-Services, Middleware technologies

* Deep expertise in implementing large scale SOA based systems using Oracle Fusion Middleware stack.

* Good understanding of Architecture principles and ability to simplify complex technical problems

* Experience in designing high availability environments with clustering, failover/recovery and load balancing strategies for multi-site implementations

* Extensive knowledge with open industry standards such as SOAP, XML, XSD, HTTP, etc.

* Experience with Weblogic application server

* Should have handled at least 2 complex, portfolio engagement assignments.

* Excellent people management skills and proven exposure to on shore, off shore working model.

* Ability to bring up issues proactively and drive team to closure (Client and internal teams)

* Ability to manage project delivery adhering to stringent SLAs with client including quality checks, client satisfaction.

* Ability to manage effective status communication, based on differing needs of various stake holders.

* Exceptional ability to cross - sell while delivering.

* Ability to motivate very diverse teams to meet portfolio level Objectives

* Ability to build high performing team, by managing recruiting, identifying right resources for right roles and keeping the team together to deliver on objectives set for portfolio.

Must Have:

* Good knowledge middleware integration SOA/ODI with Oracle EBS.

* Able to speak business and functional language, not only technical language.

* Proven expertise in handling large enterprise level SOA initiatives.

* 12+ years of experience in IT including at least 3 years as integration architect

* 2+ years of hands on experience as a service architect; service identification, service classification, service specification, service contracts using WSDL & XML schema modelling

Desirable:

* Experience in integrating Oracle EBS or Fusion to Oracle Retail

* Experience in ERP implementations in the retail industry

* Experience on working on large and complex bids
