Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Esher, Surrey

Salary: £50,000 - £80,000 dependant on experience and level

Opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity with a leading consultancy based in Surrey. My client is looking for Quantity Surveyors of varying levels. Due to the client being a multi-discipline consultancy the project work will be varied across different build sectors, including but not limited to Commercial/Offices, Residential, Retail and Leisure buildings.

Initially you will be involved in a claims dispute which is a great way to utilise skills gained previously in this area or gain exposure.

The ideal candidate will be MRICS chartered or in the process of completing their APC, they will have worked for a consultancy previously and have worked on projects in 3 or more of the sectors mentioned above.

Key requirements

* A solid background in the construction industry in the UK, with a minimum of 3 years' experience working for a consultancy.

* Have a relevant qualification, e.g. degree in Quantity Surveying.

* MRICS chartered preferably

* Be client facing and Possess good communication and report writing skills.

* Ideally will have experience working on claims disputes.

* Must be able to work with clients and represent the company.

* The successful candidate will be a confident and competent in all aspects of surveying.

* Capable of successfully working on multiple projects at once.
