Application Support Analyst - Windows Linux Networks Middleware Risk PnL- Investment bank

Application Support Analyst with experience in Experience of Windows and Linux. Scripting experience (eg: PowerShell, Python, Windows Batch)

Networking - knowledge of networking principles, understanding of the major protocols. Experience of middleware product(s) Experience of web-hosting / distribution technologies. Computer science or electronics degree or similar tech qualification, with a previous role in a technical function.

The Application Support Analyst role is directly responsible for the operation and maintenance of critical applications delivering real-time data to dependent down-stream systems and to end-users. The technical scope of the role encompasses all aspects of the system platform - from the application components, through the operating system, the communication layer, through to network layers.

This position is an opportunity to gain extensive experience in production operations while being trained in the technologies which underpin these business critical systems.
