Data Migration Consultant

Aberdeen

6 Months initially

£350 - £525 per day (DOE)

We have an excellent opportunity with a great organisation for 2 x Data Migration Consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Migration Development and Support

*Support Data Migration, Import/Export assistance cross CLM Tools RTC and RQM Administration.

*Able to define the Templates for RTC and RQM for the project areas, team areas.

*will create the input and script files based on legacy system structures and required build directory structures.

*The input and script files will be used to migrate and verify the product data transferred without injection of any errors in or changes to the product data.

*Perform migrations of Product Data.

*Analyse migration results.

*Perform root cause analysis on migration fails and errors.

*Support corrective actions and development of solutions based on failure analysis.

Key Skills:

Must have hands-on experience working in Doors data migration and the below knowledge;

* Data Migration Experience in IBM Rational Collaborative Lifecycle Management and Rational Team Concert (RTC).

* Knowledge of tools used to be able to implement/maintain the CM for DOORS integration.

* Ability to navigate, troubleshoot, and execute DXL scripts.

* Knowledge of the Rational CLM v6.0.2 suite and tools (Rational Team Concert and Rational Quality Manager).

* Utilising DOORS integrations with other applications.

* Importing other format requirement documents into Doors module.

* Knowledge of Product Line Engineering using BigLever Gears in DOORS Next Gen.

Desirable Skills:

* Six Sigma green belt.

* Knowledge on manufacturing domain.

* Excellent Written, Communication and presentation skills. Collaboratively work and support team to discover creative, best practices.

* Ability to communicate clearly and accurately both orally and in writing(required).

* Excellent interpersonal skills (required).

* Able to interact with multiple types of personnel and convey information in a manner best suitable for the needs of that particular individual.
