Trainee CAD Technician

£19'000 + Training, Development and Benefits

Do you have experience with AutoCAD? Have you or are you currently studying a Mechanical qualification?

The company specialises in the design and manufacture of bespoke equipment in the automotive industry. Due to success and growth of the company, they are looking for a highly motivated Trainee CAD Technician to join their expanding team.

In this role you will be expected to work closely with production and manufacturing staff to enable you get a real understanding of the specialist product, you will receive extensive specialist industry training to enable you to design effectively. You will also be preparing, amending and maintaining bill of materials using Sage 200

The Role:

* Production of drawings based on briefs.

* Designing Specialist equipment

* Work closely with manufacturing department

The Person:

* Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D

* Have a good attention to detail

* Wants to work with highly specialist products

* Wants to receive extensive industry training

Ideally:

* Experience with Creo 3D
