Data Analyst- SQL Server 2012, Waterfall and Agile, Multiple Projects - 6 Months - Gourock- Day Rate dependent on experience -£325

The Company:

Spring Technology's Client requires a Senior Information Architect who will work well in an ambiguous and challenging environment with the ability to research subjects with a commitment to provide continuous improvement.

The Role:

Assisting in the planning, implementation, delivery and continued improvement of the Enterprise information management team, in line with internal standards and processes.

Work with stakeholders in Business Analysis to develop and define data requirements definitions from business requirements definitions for projects.

Provide conceptual, logical and physical data modelling expertise.

Provide Dimensional Modelling expertise in a Data Warehouse environment (Kimball Framework)

Develop and maintain ETL processes respecting in house standards and norms.

Define integration and interface definitions for master and reference data between multiple operational systems of record and from operational systems to the data warehouse

Define and manage data mapping artefacts for source systems to Data Warehouse models

Provide direction to projects on data quality best practice and data profiling approaches and benefits.

Responsibilities include:

*Good understanding of project management principles and methodologies and extensive experience working on Data Warehouse projects

*Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously

*Experience working in a similar role within a multiple supplier environment

*Eagerness to learn and the ability to enhance knowledge of upcoming compliance methods and options in order to adequately address business security needs

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Essential Experience:

*Experience of Data Analysis and data requirements definition for projects interfacing to with Business analysts and derivable from Business Requirements definitions

*Understanding of data warehouse methodologies (Kimball)

*Experienced ETL developer

*Experience of SQL Server 2012 (RDBMS and TSQL)

*Full project Lifecycle experience using waterfall and Agile

Desirable Experience:

*Data Management Qualification (CDMP, ICCP certification or similar)
