Modelling and Analytics Specialist

Modelling and Analytics Specialist required to join a world leading asset management firm on a long term contract. This role is sitting within a global function accountable for developing strategic and innovative approaches to the capital markets and analytical components of client engagements.

Modelling and Analytics Specialist responsibilities:

* Playing a hands on role in client project execution for customised modelling engagements and model validation advisory assignments

* Define and develop procedures and standards for modelling content and related documentation supporting project needs and clients' business/model validation requirements

* Providing support for business development and strategic product development

* Liaison and collaboration with asset experts

Modelling and Analytics Specialist requirements:

* Professional experience in developing and/or validating models using underlying methodologies, ideally with experience in model validation

* Experience with several scripting, data management and/or visualisation tools / programming languages (VBA, R, Python, SAS, or SQL etc.)

* Strong technical skills and ability to communicate analytical concepts to a range of clients/internal audiences

* Team player with strong interpersonal skills
