My client is a UK leading online games retailer based in Cheshire, selling the latest video games and consoles including the PS4, Xbox One and Switch. Not forgetting blu-ray/dvd and a vast selection of electronics, books, clothing and toys. They have been nominated for Online Retailer of the Year, MCV Industry Excellence Awards and Golden Joystick Awards.

Since their humble beginning, they now have a reputation in the marketplace as one of the best specialist stores in Europe. Their main customer base is in the UK and also supply to the wider european market. Now going through a period of hyper growth, they are looking to make new additions to their highly collabortive and experienced team in the form of a Software Tester. The Software Tester

My client is now seeking a talented and eager Software Tester to join their fast-growing team to work in an exciting and rewarding industry where they challenge themselves constantly to stay ahead of the competition. You will be responsible for ensuring that they deliver the highest quality software to their customers as well as quality and functional internal systems.

Essential

* Ability to advise the IT team and business of best testing practice

* Ability to design and execute software tests / scripts to verify system functionality

* Ability to advise of, create and maintain automated testing solutions

* Have practical experience and knowledge of smoke testing, destructive testing and play through tests

* Be passionate about their work!

Desirable

* Basic to good understanding of PHP and SQL

* Experience of automated tools such as Selenium
