Proteus Europe is searching for a Java database (SQL) developer for one of our clients based in Austria on a contract basis.

Our Client :-

You will be working within an important Austrian consultancy Telecom company that provides wide range of Telecom services to its customers across Austria. It is part of a larger group of telecom service providers and is well respected company.

Your New role :-

Role and responsibilities:

- Writing well designed, documented and testable Java code

- Unit testing of the developed software components

- Assist the Software Architect in designing the software solution

- Work in close cooperation with the Software Architect, Test Engineer and Business Analyst

- Your commitment to develop professional application software for the finance industry in an international environment

- Write technical documentation

- Experience in finance and banking area is a plus (This is NOT essential)

- Pro-active attitude and team orientation

- Excellent communication skills

- Very good command of English (mandatory)

- Gradle

- Apache Velocity

- Oracle

- Agile

- Scrum

- Java 8

- German is a plus
