Junior to Mid Level PHP Developer

We are looking to recruit a Junior to Mid level PHP Developer to join our clients development team. With a mixture of mid and senior developers, the 4 strong development team are looking for a junior to mid level developer to mentor and grow within the company.

They have a major project that needs additional support. You will be working on a bespoke investment management platform.

The ideal developer will have:

- 1+ years of software development experience in PHP

- Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX etc

- Working knowledge of MySQL

- A genuine passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new exciting ideas

- Experience working with CodeIgniter is desired

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Writing "clean", well designed code

- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality

- Follow industry best practices

- Developing and deploying new features to improve the products

The successful applicant will be dedicated to his/her craft, possess code writing capabilities. As part of a growing team the individual will be responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing launching & support.

Salary for the Junior to Mid Level PHP Developer is up to £35k
