C#.net Web Agile Developer - P&L Explain - Investment Bank

C# .net Web Developer is required to work on the PnL reporting system for Global Markets. Primary focus of the role will be C# development, therefore good knowledge of threading and common development patterns such as Producer/Consumer required. Must have a working knowledge of HTML, Javascript, Typescript, Angular and CSS. Familiar (but not expert) at writing stored procedures in T-SQL The project is run using Agile Scrum. Therefore you should have familiarity with unit test frameworks (NUnit), Mocking, Build systems (TeamCity, MSBuild): Ideally you will have worked on middle office P&L systems and have a working knowledge of P&L calculations and on how PnL Explain is generated. The project will involve tight deadlines and requires a motivated and self-driven individual. Working in an Agile environment will require the ability to adapt to changing requirements.

Role:

The P&L Explain development team are responsible for developing and maintaining several of the strategic platforms for controlling and reporting P&L within Global Markets. The team follows an Agile Scrum methodology with close involvement from business stakeholders in Front and Middle Office.

The role will primarily be technical with the opportunity to pick up appropriate business knowledge. It will involve:

           Being part of the Agile Scrum team and working on all aspects of the Agile life cycle, from liaising with users to create user stories, development in a pair programming environment, creation of appropriate automated tests, demonstration to stakeholders and deployment into production.

           Developing in a primarily Microsoft focused environment including Server Side C#/.NET, and client technologies in HTML5, Typescript, Angular and WinForms with SQL.
