Role: Senior Ruby on Rails Developer
Location: Dublin
Salary: Excellent
Talented Ruby on Rails developer urgently needed to join a talented and experienced team of Ruby on Rails developers. As a team they put an equal value on technical ability and team fit, so ability to work well with others in a friendly, collaborative environment is essential! Working on Product Development you will be building new features and scaling their systems to support increased traffic. You will be working in an environment of best practices, high coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing etc.
Ruby on Rails skills needed
5+ years experience developing human-facing / Web Rails applications.
Experience of having worked in a team environment as a developer.
Competence and experience in using the following technologies: RSpec 3, JQuery, background job processing (Resque or Sidekiq, etc.), git, MySQL, AWS SDK / gem,
Experience of building new features and maintaining / supporting existing code.
Good standard of written and spoken English.
Nice to haves:
Third level qualification in software development, computer science, or similar.
Competence and experience in using the following technologies: Redis, FFMPEG, continuous integration, Angular or React
Experience in working on APIs
