£38,000 - £45,000 + benefits

Spring Technology are seeing a experienced Data Warehouse Developer to join our clients friendly team based in Leeds. Their offices are in a 5 minute walk from the train station.

In this role you will take the lead in the design, build and management of a dimensionally modelled data warehouse.

As part of a cutting edge technology projects team, you will be working in a Microsoft environment, using the latest versions of SQL Server and the associated ETL tools.

You will need to be highly motivated and somewhat of an expert in Data Warehouse Development, this will include potentially being able to build from scratch, define standards, deal with integration and migration strategies and data structure.

Working very closely with Business Analysts, PM's, Key Stake Holders, as well on the technical side; DBA's and Developers it is imperative that you have the communication and business skills to effectively manage expectations and work to business SLA's.

Typical projects will include the re-engineering of business processes and development of new systems, including upgrades and migrations of existing systems and Data Warehouse, all of which will need to follow a structured project methodology.

*SQL Server 2012 and above (2010/2008r2 may still be considered)

*Database Security experience during design and deployment phase

*SSAS

Desirable skills

*Hadoop/Big Data

*Sharepoint

*Dynamics CRM

*Microsoft certified

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Data Warehouse Developer with good technical knowledge of building and maintaining Data Warehouses in an enterprise environment, with excellent ETL skills. You will need to be a great communicator who can prioritise and work to project management methodologies.
