Job Title: BI Developer

Daily Rate: Up to £500

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 6 Months

Location: Alderley Edge

The Role

We are currently looking for BI developer specialising in Micro Strategy for an exciting 6 month contract based in Alderley Edge. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the following:

Business Intelligence (4-5 years exp)

MicroStrategy

Dashboards

Creating reports

Redshift***

Amazon Web Services (AWS)***

Big Data***

All *** marked requirements are desirable for the role.

The ideal should have a strong business intelligence developer experience with microstrategy.

Essential Experience

- Experience as MicroStrategy Developer, Architect & Administrator building projects and creating reports and Dashboards using MicroStrategy.

- At least 4 years of experience in MicroStrategy ideally in version 10.x.

- Extensively worked in creating and integrating MicroStrategy Reports and Objects (Attributes, Filters, Metrics, Facts, Prompts, Templates, Consolidation and Custom Groups) with the data warehouse.

- Defining users groups and developing role based access to MicroStrategy dashboards.

- Expert level skills in a range of BI technologies and applications and willingness to learn and use new technologies

- Worked on designing schema and creating Facts, Attributes, Hierarchies and Transformations.

- Information Modelling.

Desirable Experience

*Database knowledge around columnar databases e.g. Redshift.

*Amazon Web Services (AWS)

*Big Data technologies e.g. Hadoop, Map Reduce, Hive?
