Big Data Engineer - Analytics - FinTech

We're looking for a Data Engineer to join a thriving Fintech organisation based in London. If you have a background working with real-time data and hands-on experience with Big Data Technologies, such as Kafka and Spark, then you could be the Data Engineer that we've been looking for!

As a Data Engineer, you'll be working for a leading software provider that deliver solutions to an array of clients across the banking and finance industry. With thousands of firms across the world, you will be joining a global powerhouse in the software market. As a part of the Analytics Team based in the UK, you will take part in developing their real-time analytics platform, which will process live data from 10's of millions of accounts from tier 1 clients. Your skills will be utilised when designing, implementing and testing real-time data processing pipelines and data component orchestration processes, including ingestion, data quality and metadata management.

What skills/experience should you have?

* Experience with real-time data streaming (Kafka, Spark, Storm, Flink)

* Hands on development experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, Neo4j, Cassandra, etc).

What skills/experience would be nice to have?

* Track record of working in Cloud or Hybrid environments (ideally Azure), including security, data transfer and resource scaling

* Interest in the financial sector is a plus
