Software Engineer, C++ and C#, Leeds, 4 Months, SC cleared.

My client are looking to bring on an experienced contractor to work on an exciting SC cleared project at their site near Leeds. They are looking to bring on a software engineer with strong experience in C++ AND C# as well as previous experience working with Visual Studio 2008.

The role will involve working on a new project, modifying existing code and testing software. The project is very exciting and will involve working on satellites. The code will be a mix of C++ and C# based.

Key skills include:

* Excellent C++ skills and recent developmental experience.

* Strong use of C# within the last few years, ideally in an engineering environment.

* Previous exposure to Visual Studio 2008

They are looking to bring somebody in ASAP. Interviews will be happening next week but they can get people in earlier.

The role is set to last until Christmas, however, with the high volume of work they are experiencing, it is highly likely that an extension will be on the cards, if not for this project, then for one in a different team.

Due to the nature of the role clients must work on site at all times and be eligible for SC clearance. The client will put you through SC clearance, this process usually takes 1 week.
