We’re looking for a Data & Reporting Architect to join the London Business School and take responsibility for the School’s analytic platform and data operations.

As the Data & Reporting Architect, you’ll bring a passion for data, reporting, analysis and insight to the London Business School, supporting our success through intelligent management of data architecture and sound overseeing of data reporting operations. Putting your excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to good work, you’ll build the infrastructure needed to make us a truly data-driven organisation, as well as offering the expertise needed to help business users capitalise on the resources at their fingertips. With the chance to take ownership of key projects and gain top hands-on experience this is an incredible opportunity, for the right candidate. Here you’ll:

Define and maintain the London Business School’s data architecture

Work with teams across the school and end users on daily data-capture operations

Develop SQL queries to combine data from multiple sources and support decision making

Prepare insightful presentations to facilitate discussion of analysis

Be an expert across the School on all matters relating to data, providing guidance and direction when needed and encouraging best practice at all times

Help turn everyday information into useful, actionable insights that offer real value to the School

Feedback on practises to wider industry

Proactively look for and suggest ways for the department to improve

Share our knowledge

What we’re looking for

Proven analytics and data management experience

Sound understanding of data-warehousing and data-mining concepts

Mastery of class-modelling and dimensional-modelling techniques

Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills

Able to work across teams and independently to get things done

Able to manage time and resources effectively

Experience with Microsoft Stack and SSRS advantageous

Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and projects at any one time
