Our Project Consultants will have exposure to a number of phases within a project lifecycle, have the ability to lead and motivate a team of diverse individuals, be familiar with Project methodologies and principles and be able to work within an iterative, software development driven environment.

Project Brief

Capita is currently embarking on a major recruitment drive to recruit between 5 - 10 ambitious and highly talented Project Support Officers to join an innovative Project Support team working within a fast-paced environment.

We have put plans in place for a number of several cutting edge transformation and change projects to commence in 12 months' time (October 2018) which will require dedicated support from experienced project support officers and co-ordinators.

As these projects will take place within highly secured environments, Project Support Officers will be required to undergo DV Clearance will need to meet a strict eligibility criteria before we can determine whether you can undergo this level of security vetting.

We do need to stress that the process of this level of security vetting can take 12 months to complete and once approved, only then will you be allowed onsite to work on these projects. We can only confirm a start date once your security vetting process has been completed and you have been granted DV clearance.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for experienced Project Support Officers with a demonstrable pedigree of supporting large-scale and challenging projects (more than £500k sized budgets).

For this, we will offer the Senior Project Support Officers the opportunity to work in a diverse and experienced team and play a crucial role in changing the outlook of the client organisation.

This role would suit Senior Project Support Officers with a keen eye for detail with excellent organisational and administration skills who are seeking to make a huge difference and wants to build on their existing skills and experience.

The Senior Project Support Officers we will be looking to recruit must possess and demonstrate the following mandatory skills and experience:

* Strong experience of applying appropriate and differing methodologies/techniques to aid projects and maximise delivery success.

* Strong experience of using enterprise project portfolio software (i.e. MS Projects, Primavera, etc.).

* Experience of running the budget costs of a project.

* General administrative skills including the use of MS packages.

* Good interpersonal skills, able to work with all levels within the programme team and multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.

* Good communication and listening skills and the ability to deal with key project stakeholders.
