We're recruiting a Change & Release Analyst to deploy and execute the Change, Release and Configuration Management processes for the SAP Centre of Excellence (CoE).
You'll be working:
* As a strong partner with the SAP CoE ensuring full alignment with global operating procedures for changes to configurable items.
* To implement the global change management processes and operating mechanisms within the SAP CoE
* To manageme the change and release management process for the SAP CoE - ensuring staff successfully create and execute change controls in line with standards.
* To support colleagues within the SAP CoE, helping them to understand and engage with the processes to ensure consistency.
* Acting as the single point of contact for the management of changes to configurable items by the SAP CoE - identifying, logging, classifying and monitoring all submissions through the process
* To carry out any other duties which are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.
* To ensure that at all times company policies and standards are adhered to.
Role includes working with remote and cross-cultural teams; national/International travel may be required, as well as some out of work.
Some of the required experience of this role is:
* Experience of operating a Change and Release Management process in a large distributed global application, (preferably SAP);
* Experience of operating within a good documentation culture, including adherence to formal control processes;
* Experience of coaching and mentoring IT colleagues in the importance of adherence to formal processes;
* Strong MS office skills - especially MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Project;
* Experience of managing a structured release management policy, communicating change content details with CAB and CRB organisations as part of the IT Change Management process;
* Management of the change portfolio and product release notes with the Application Manager, with Service Desk, with Change Requestors and with business users;
* Experience in scoping, defining, implementing and then leading a change management service for a number of software applications.
ITIL certification is highly desirable.
