6 - 12 months contract - Central London - DV Clearance

*** Please note that this position will require successful candidates to either hold DV Clearance or be eligible to undertake DV Clearance prior to being allowed to work on client site.

Role Profile

We are currently recruiting for a x2 highly skilled Applications Support Engineer to join a talented IT support team that is tasked to provide applicaton support to a number of inhouse bespoke software applications.

You will be required to personally work on and resolve the vast majority of application support tickets received rather than log and pass on. You will be responsible for picking up errors, triaging them and then working out which app within which system has caused the error.

With 40 - 50 systems which talk to each other, it will be a case of getting stuck in to investigate the incident and track through the systems to identify the incident which has caused the error.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for an intelligent and enthusiastic individual who can demonstrate excellet app support expereince, someone who will roll their sleeves up, get stuck in and is willing to learn. You will need to be a fast-learner as you will be working on bespoke applications you haven't seen or worked on before.
