Applications Engineer - Audio - Edinburgh - Multiple vacancies.

Our client based in Edinburgh requires a couple of Applications Engineer with a background in Analog Electronics (Audio preferred) to provide support alongside their expanding IC Design teams.

They are hoping for a mid level candidate, although will consider Junior Engineers all the way to Principal Engineers although some industrial experience is preferred. This will be to join a well established team of 15 Engineers in this discipline.

The role will involve circuit evaluation and design of PCBs and analog electronic circuits. There is the option for this role to provide customer support if you enjoy this, although they also have capacity for this position to be purely technical as well.

The validation/ evaluation/ characterisation tools you will use are predominantly Python scripting, some PXI and LabVIEW. (If you have any experience in scripting (Perl, TCL, Bash, C, C++), they can consider you learning Python on the job.
