A major company within the Media Industry are looking to bolster their ranks with an experienced and talented Back end Developer. This exciting opportunity is based within the heart of Glasgow and offers the chance to work with cutting-edge, modern technology.

You will have a passion for working with other departments to develop user-focused applications and be part of a team who are developing leading edge digital products including the company website, mobile apps and their online platform.

The successful candidate will have;

-Demonstrable knowledge and application of programming languages - PHP is preferred however experience in Python, Ruby or Java will also be considered

-Experience of MVC frameworks such as Symfony, Zend Rails, Django or similar

-Sound knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns
