Programme & Project Manager (Business Intelligence) - 6 months, possible ext - Edinburgh £450 - £550 per day (Inside IR35)

Spring Technology's public sector client is currently looking to hire an experience Programme / Project Manager to join a high performing team.

The Role:

Programme & Project Manager

In this fantastic role you will provide programme and project management on the BI Tools programme. Our client will work within the Digital Transformation initiative and be responsible for the analysis, selection and implementation of a new BI solution. Ideally you will have with experience in the Public or High Education Sectors.

Essential Experience

*Initiate the programme effectively

*Identify and engage stakeholders

*Conduct market analysis

*Clarify business and technical requirements including the optimal coupling of the tools with our Enterprise Data Warehouse

*Produce detailed plans for the procurement stage

*Produce higher level plans for implementation and benefits realisation

*The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of programme activity and will have demonstrable knowledge, skills and experience in the following areas:

*Communications and stakeholder engagement

*Requirements gathering and analysis

*BI Tools implementation

*Software/technology procurement

*Managing software developers and other technology staff

*Influencing and engaging senior stakeholders

*Extensive experience working as a programme manager and project manager with a track record of successfully delivering business solutions

*Significant experience of managing Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, Analytics or similar programmes and projects

*Experience managing software procurement projects, including evaluation and implementation stages

*Relevant programme management, project management or business analysis qualifications e.g. MSP, APMP, Prince2 or Agile certification.

*Experience managing multiple concurrent projects

*Track record of successful project or change delivery

*Ability to develop and maintain project plans (e.g. in Microsoft Project or equivalent) so that projects are delivered successfully

*Ability to balance diplomacy and tact with assertiveness

*Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels

*Very effective time management skills
