This company is a world leader in the manufacture and delivery of simulation and training solutions for Air Traffic Control operations and they are looking to recruit a Data Analyst.

Purpose of Job

- To operate and maintain existing internal (database/spreadsheet) systems and processes to support day-to-day financial, costing and reporting processes, including managing change.

- To monitor existing systems (database/spreadsheet) and processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

- To design and implement additional systems and processes as identified by the Business.

- To provide support to both the Quality department and the Programmes department as required.

- To provide basic IT support when the IT Manager is out of the office.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Administer and operate Business Operations systems that contribute to Company Management Reporting, Bid and Programme costing, and production of the MNL Monthly Accounts

- Become the expert user for the 3rd Party CRM and Liquid Planner applications

- Contribute to hands-on systems analysis and design work to support the on-going Business Improvement programme and the transition to the new ISO 9001:2015 standard

- Assist the Head of Business Operations by providing ad-hoc data to support the Business

- Assist the Business Improvement Manager with Quality Management System issues or initiatives

- Support the Programmes area when additional resource is required (assistance with bid and project controls)

- Support end-users with IT helpdesk issues when the IT Manager is away from the office

- Provide a basic level of support for infrastructure issues when the IT Manager is away from the office

Technical Requirements

- An understanding of Microsoft 365 cloud products, Windows and common utilities

- Experience in systems analysis and design disciplines; and the implementation of new processes and systems;

- Proven VBA / MS Access skill

- Experience with SQL databases (including administration /data creation and linking data to Office Applications)

- Proven can-do approach to problem solving capabilities

Education and Experience

- Educated to Degree level;

- Experience with system and data analysis and programming;

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools; and experience with office automation
