Utilities Project Manager

£40,000 - £48,000 + Car + Pension + Benefits

South East England (PO, BN, GU, RH postcodes)

Are you an experienced Project Manager from a utilities background (gas/electric/water) with experience of managing the installation and commissioning of utility networks, looking for a South East based role, offering autonomy and a high degree of future career progression.

The client is a growing utilities giant, who can offer an excellent flexible benefits scheme, stability and a dynamic, growing environment.

The position is responsible for managing the installation, testing commissioning of gas, water, fibre and electric mains, services, and associated equipment and meters. It is covering the BN, PO, RH and GU postocodes so you should be based in one these three postcode areas.

The Role:

*Initial and ongoing site meetings including CDM pack handover

*Supervision that the utility assets are constructed as designed, in a safe manner and are recorded correctly

*Large mains/cable materials selection

*Site audits / Team audits / Van audits

The Person:

*Experience of current Legislation, Technical Standards & Specifications, Codes of Practice relating to one of the following utilities; Gas, Electric or Water Distribution Systems

*Experience in a Project Management position

*Ideally one of the following; Authorising Engineer registration (gas), Senior Authorised Person (electric) or NCO3 (water) qualifications.

The role is home based, covering a SE patch
