Job Title: IT Project Manager - Housing

Package: £ £50,000

Location: Bedford

An opportunity has arisen to join this progressive, vibrant and expanding Housing Association. Where the IT team is at the centre of leading an organisational transformation. Reporting to the Head of IT, it will be your responsibility to successfully deliver multiple complex projects simultaneously in a matrix managed environment. You will manage and prioritise new work requests to form a roadmap of activities.

They are looking for an individual with a strong background in IT project Management. Able to manage multiple projects, influence at all levels and be key to the delivery of their operational plan. To be an advocate of change and have the ability to form strategic and tactical plans. You will be a guarantor of continuous, successful, reliable delivery.

Responsibilities:

- To embed project management disciplines: Identify, control, deliver, track and report project activities

- To drive the successful delivery of multiple complex IT driven transformational change projects

- To manage day to day workflows and prioritise accordingly

- Engage with business units to facilitate adoption and implementation of project management best practices

- Manage and publish quarterly delivery roadmaps, develop the supporting workflow control processes

- Report KPIs and progress to Head of IT and Senior Management

Requirements:

- Strong knowledge of IT project and programme management

- Experience of both agile and waterfall software development methodologies

- Experience of whole project lifecycle. Able to operate from conceptual design stage to project delivery and closedown.

- A proven track record of software development, Microsoft (CRM or office 365) , and/or infrastructure project delivery in an IT Dept. (2-3 years+), preferably with exposure to the housing sector

- Excellent customer facing and influencing skills, able to build and maintain, highly valued influential relationships

- Dynamic, and flexible thinker, with a strong focus on detail where this is required
