Software Tester - 2 year FTC - Manual Testing - Browser Based Apps - Agile

Our major client in Sheffield is embarking on a major programme of work and is looking for an experienced Software Tester to join their expanding team on a 2 year Fixed Term Contract.

You will Contribute to the development of the Test Phase and Increment Test Plans.

Participate in and lead Huddles when required to validate and verify requirements through the design of tests and through employing checklists.

Work alongside Developers and Business representatives to develop Test Scenarios.

Provide support and contribute to the manual testing, test data creation, data migration and integration activities as required.

Execute scripted and exploratory tests and record results.

Produce defect reports in respect of the errors that emerge from testing, for submission to the Test Manager to feed into the daily Stand up meetings

Ensure that retests of any fixes are undertaken and provide sign off or remedial actions where appropriate.

Actively contribute to the Agile principles and tooling adopted by the Project.

Strive for excellence and deliver high quality features through extensive and thorough testing

It is expected that you will have at least 3 years experience working as a Manual Software Tester within an Agile environment working with Browser based applications. Any experience of the following will be a definite advantage : Selenium, BDD, TDD and ESB integration testing.

THIS IS A 2 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT.
