Project Manager - Software - Travel / Government£40,000 - £50,000Commutable from Reading/ Bracknell/ Wokingham/ Basingstoke/ SloughMy client, based South East of Reading, and looking for a new Project Manager to join the team. You will be the type of PM who enjoys working in fast paced, dynamic environments where no two days are the same, in a client facing role where you will have the opportunity to work with global organisations within the travel and government sectors on high security projects. Responsibilities-          Customer and 3^rd Party management, with the occasional requirement of working independently in a customer environment. Able to co-ordinate sub-contractors, 3^rd parties and manage multiple customers whilst ensuring that the commercial interests of the business are represented.-          Manage internal resources - this could range from managing off shore software development teams, being involved with product design/ engineering teams and able to work with local installation resources.-          Oversee, and track, the commercial, financial and risk sections of the projects. This involves a good level of competency working with MS Project.-          Work on high security projects within Airports, Ports and Government offices.Requirements-          Due to the secure nature of the role, SC Clearance is an advantage, but if not - you must be clearable to SC level.-          Open to travel around the UK, and to counties in Europe on a frequent basis-          Prince 2 qualified (or equivalent) and ideally ITIL qualified.-          You will ideally have experience working with Software development teams, and have a good understand of the Software development lifecycle-          Proven client facing experienceThe role is paying up to £50,000 + competitive benefits package and travel to client site expenses covered.
