QA Engineer

Location: Oxford

Duration: 3 months initial

Day Rate: £400 - £450

QA Engineer - We are actively seeking a QA Engineer to join a global publishing company based in Oxford. As the QA Engineer you will be responsible for implementing and executing automation testing in a new project. The QA Engineer will be working with the QA Manager, Project Managers and Tech Leads to plan the automated tests.

The QA Engineer will need to have the ability to develop and execute automation testing for large scale projects within a global company. The QA Engineer will need to have strong understanding of Agile development and QA methodologies. The QA Engineer will be working with all levels of the business and excellent communication skills are vital.

Key Skills for the QA Engineer:

* Solid QA experience implementing and executing automation tests on large scale projects.

* Excellent automation experience.

* Strong hands-on experience with Java - not at a developer level.

* Worked with Web services, API testing and micro-services.

* SOAP UI.

* Testing cloud applications in AWS and Azure.

* Excellent communication skills are vital.
