Trainee Estimator

Do you have experience working within an engineering or Manufacturing environment? Are you looking to become a fully qualified Estimator/ Costing engineer?

Having been established near Folkestone around 50 years ago this company are a sub-contract manufacturer of specialist components and assemblies. They supply into leading manufacturing companies and they are expanding into the renewable energy sector. With strong order books, they are looking to recruit an Estimator to join their highly skilled team.

In this role you will be preparing quotations in accordance with current profit margin policy whilst ensuring, that all quotations are realistically priced according to the client specification and company targets. You need to ensure effective communication with all customers and suppliers to ensure accuracy of customer orders.

This opportunity would suit a candidate who has worked within a Manufacturing environment who is looking for the opportunity to gain market leading training within a Niche industry.

The Role:

* Preparing quotations in accordance with current profit margin

* Calculate material and production costs

* Ensure customer deadlines are met

* Salary negotiable + Extensive Training + Progression + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

The Person:

* Estimator

* Must be able to read engineering drawings

* Experience of working within a manufacturing/ workshop environment

* A good working knowledge of 'MS Office'
