£80,000 - £90,000 + Progression + Paid Travel + Benefits + Pension
Are you seeking a hands on leadership opportunity where you will head up global strategy, projects and upgrades for all major controls and automation requirements for a world leading chemical manufacturer?
This is arguably the ideal role for a Controls & Automation leader who really wants to demonstrate their technical and leadership prowess, strategic thinking and sheer enthusiasm of C&A and put it to the test for a global player going from strength to strength
The company are a worldwide chemicals manufacturer that are transitioning from a global player into becoming a genuine international trendsetter. Their plans are to standardise, upgrade and streamline their manufacturing processes internationally and want someone to take the technical lead on implementing and championing the Controls & Automation arm
The purpose of the role is to be the global technical authority on Controls & Automation with set goals involving standardisation of Controls and Automation processes and procedures, key upgrade projects and multi-site strategy to take Controls & Automation to world class levels

The Role:
*Senior Controls & Automation Engineer
*Home based International travel role to company sites
*Responsible for streamlining, strategizing and upgrading the companies Controls & Automation network
*Monday to Friday work
*Regular travel internationally - Ie Uk for one week and an international site the next week - rotating
The Person:
*Strong Controls and Automation skills
*Degree qualified in relevant subject ie Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics or similar
*Chemicals or Process industries experience
*Managerial experience
