Systems Engineer/ Senior Systems Engineer/ SysML Engineer/ Systems Engineer/ Systems Engineer/ Senior Drivetrain Systems Engineer/I am working with a client based in Surrey that currently has a requirement for a Senior Systems Engineer to come and join the existing R&D team. The role pays from £30 - £40+ per hour (this can be negotiated upwards for an applicant with the right experience) and is for a 12-month contract.The primary responsibility of this role is the system design of specialist automotive drive-train development. This includes the use of Model based Systems Engineering (MBSE) for systems analysis and modelling, the development of requirements, traceability analysis and the creation of test specifications. As a member of the systems team, the Systems Engineer will cocollaborate cross-functionally with domain experts to ensure delivery of the company's goals and targets.Systems Engineer/ Senior Systems Engineer/ SysML Engineer/ Systems Engineer/ Systems Engineer/ Senior Drivetrain Systems Engineer/Key responsibilities for the role include, although are not limited to, the following:

'€¢Application of MBSE process using SysML'€¢Define system architectures'€¢Perform behavioural design down to software level'€¢Identify functional requirements with particular emphasis on functional safety'€¢Perform traceability analysis between different levels of the system design'€¢Undertake design reviews'€¢Support verification and validation planning activities
