Are you an electrical/ electronic engineer that wants to work on high tech engineering equipment?

The company area a world leading small but dynamic company based in Taunton, Somerset. They design and develop computer controlled test solutions for the global aerospace and defence industry, as well as Rail, Oil and gas and other high tech industries.

Due to continued expansion and high demand in its products we are looking to recruit additional full time permanent personnel.

In this role you will cover the UK carrying out PPM and breakdown repair of specialist testing equipment. You will be given full product training and receive regular updates as this technology advances.

The ideal candidate will be living within the Bristol or Somerset area and have a strong electrical/ electronic engineering background. You would have experience as a controls engineer, instrumentation engineer or computer engineer.

The role:

*Diagnose faults by email and phone.

*Repair systems down to component level.

*Manage service priorities.

*Monitor and improve customer satisfaction.

*Installation of new equipment.

*Product training.

*Design improvements to existing systems.

*Calibrating customer equipment and general serving.

*Install system expansions and upgrades.

The person:

*Minimum HNC/HND in electrical/ Electronic engineering.

*5 year's experience as a service or electrical/electronic engineer.

*Live in the Somerset or Bristol area.

*Good customer service skills.

*Candidates who have experience as a Control Engineer, Instrumentation Engineer, Computer engineer, Signal processing engineer, Telecoms Engineer, Instrumentation Engineer, Computer engineer or PLC Engineer will have an advantage.
