Junior Civil Engineer

£25'000 - £30'000 + Training + Support with Chartership + Pension + Life Insurance + 23 Days Holiday

Excellent role on offer for a Junior Civil Engineer who is looking to specialise in Highways and Drainage Design with a company that can offer full specialist training and support to become chartered.

Do you have work experience in a civil engineering environment? Are you looking for progression to chartership status?

This multi-disciplined consulting service specialises in Civil, Commercial and Residential engineering for local authorities, health trusts and water companies. Due to continual success they are looking to expand the business further by increasing headcount and have created a new role to assist the Principle Engineer.

In this role you will be required to prepare layout and working drawings, assist in preliminary design and detailed design, check that the work undertaken meets agreed drawings and specifications, undertake surveys and present surveys information, assist in the preparation of technical reports including Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Schemes.

This role would ideally suit a Civil Engineer with site experience that is looking who is looking for training and progression with a more civilised role. Ideally the person would be looking to become a Chartered Engineer with a company that is highly supportive and know for looking after their staff. In addition you must have a Full UK Driving License, a car and a Full EU Passport.

The Role:

* Prepare layout and working drawings

* Assist in preliminary design and detailed design of engineering schemes

* Check that work undertaken by contractors meets agreed the drawings and specifications

* Undertake topographical and other surveys and present surveys information on drawings

* Assist in the preparation of technical reports including Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Schemes

* £25'000 - £30'000 + Training + Support with Chartership + Pension + Life Insurance + 23 Days Holiday

The Person:

* Must have previous work experience

* Relevant Engineering Degree

* Have a Full UK Driving License

* Live locally to East Sussex

* Full EU Passport
