£35,000-£40,000 + Training + Relocation assistance + Progression to Senior Design and Team Leader roles + Bonus + Pension + Benefits

Excellent role on offer for an experienced design engineer looking to join a global market leading company, where you will work with highly specialist technologies, whilst being able to progress your career into Senior Design and Team leader roles.

Are you a design engineer? Do you have experience of concept design through to manufacture?

This international group are a household name worldwide. They are the market leaders in several industries and pave the way with the latest technologies and technical advancements. The site in Stowmarket is a global hub for the design and manufacture of specialist products in a niche sector within consumer and professional goods.

In this role you will take design ideas from concept through to mass manufacture. You will be mainly responsible for the mechanical elements but it will also include electrical/electronic systems. You will also be involved in project work dealing with product upgrades and re-modelling of existing products.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Product design of consumer goods. Injection mould/plastics experience is desirable, and any person with experience of rotating equipment, pumps or motors is encouraged to apply.

Within 2-3years in this exceptional company, you will have the chance to progress into Senior design engineer roles and also Team leader positions.

The role:

*Concept Design

*Design through to Mass Production

*Project Work - Full life cycle

*Upgrades and re-modelling of existing products

*Mechanical and electrical

*£35,000-£40,000 + Training + Relocation assistance + Progression to Senior Design and Team Leader roles + Bonus + Pension + Benefits

The person:

*Must have mechanical design experience

*Must have dealt with some form of consumer goods

*Must have some electrical/electronic knowledge

*Must live in commutable distance to Stowmarket, Suffolk or be happy to relocate
