An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Support Engineer (Trading) with excellent academics and a great work ethic to join a dedicated Support team within our exciting financial technology company based in Central London. As the Graduate Support Engineer (Trading) you will be responsible for providing 1st line support across global markets and multiple asset classes for client queries and issues via phone, IM and Email.

As a Graduate Support Engineer (Trading) you will be the main point of contact for clients using our trading systems. You will both support the suite of software and interact with our clients to understand their needs, design solutions and implement them, alongside our development team.

As the successful Graduate Support Engineer (Trading) your focus will also be on providing technical and business support for my client's electronic trading platform service and supporting its global client base across global markets and multiple asset classes.

Skills needed for a Graduate Support Engineer (Trading) are:

* A 2:1 Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a numerate subject (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics).

* Basic technical knowledge and a desire to improve in areas such as C++, Java, SQL, Python, Shell-scripting, Linux, Windows.

* Ability to communicate confidently and concisely to both business and technical clients and colleagues.

* Excellent problem solving skills and ability to communicate solutions.
